Coming from Consulting, Coaching and Academic backgrounds, Ian brings an integrated approach to the development of postgraduate students in the AIM Business School.
His passion is for Developing Others with a Leadership Mindset, so they enhance their capabilities to make a difference in their work and communities.
Areas of Specialisation
Ian has extensive experience in Organisational Analysis and Development as well as Career Development Coaching and Leadership, all applied to enhancing the performance of People, Teams and Organisations.
Ian has been a Facilitator for Units in Organisational Behaviour, Management, Change, Consulting Skills and Economics, but he is now specifically driven to work with students in Leading, Managing and Developing People (LMDP) with AIM Business School.
Business Background
Following his early career as a Manager in Adelaide, Ian moved to Melbourne to work as a Consultant with the global Hay Group (now Korn Ferry).
He was a Lecturer with Deakin University over 5 years and through that role was introduced to AIM in Melbourne. Preferring the more applied approach to learning and teaching, Ian has held roles with AIM Business School over many years while working in his own Coaching and Consulting businesses.
