Judith is an author with several business books published. Her professional experience is expansive, having started her early career in Australia Post in customer service and Telecom (Telstra), then fast-tracked into a senior management role managing Equal Employment Opportunity.
Judith’s publications have sold internationally (Beverly Hills Council as one example). She has spoken at numerous industry forums, including being interviewed on radio and feature articles in the Australian newspaper, BRW magazine and other publications.
Her career culminated in blending industry consulting and training with numerous private (domestic and international) corporate and public sector organisations, including ANZ, Daimler Chrysler, NAB, Mazda, Telstra, Telkom Indonesia, City of Boroondara and Monash City Council, Parliamentary Services Victoria to name a few.
Judith also augments her management consulting roles through her business, Distinctive Edge Group Pty Ltd and Competitive Marketing Australia Pty Ltd (economic development strategies proposal funded by Deputy Prime Minister’s department). Her business roles have included significant projects to reform businesses and assist with business growth strategies, including troubleshooting to turn around financial performance and redesign service operations. Types of organisations range from family retail and formal hire to ethnic owned businesses.
Judith has held various adjunct lecturing and course coordination roles at keynote universities (both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Charles Sturt, Melbourne University in Sunway College Malaysia, RMIT, Swinburne Victoria University. She has also designed and facilitated programs for vocational providers such as Think Education and numerous Tafe organisations.
She has a passion for teaching and learning and is currently writing programs on study skills and business and academic writing. Her webinars create an environment whereby students and adult learners can use various techniques to maximise learning. She enjoys mentoring students (from different cultural and diverse backgrounds, including special needs such as LOTE).
Additionally, she relishes ways to build and preserve knowledge (PhD thesis area), share knowledge, and collaborate with colleagues. She is currently negotiating with an international publisher to adapt her thesis topic into a book.
