Unit Description
This unit aims to help you develop and apply knowledge in strategy, governance, and sustainability to facilitate the successful planning and achievement of organisational goals and build sustainable organisations. You will be encouraged to think about your role as a leader, develop key behaviours for effective leadership, and explore reporting requirements, social responsibility, stakeholder management, and other skills necessary for governance.

Learning Outcomes
- Outline and critique how sustainability, including Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, influence strategy, governance, risk and ethics
- Appraise and examine how a broad range of stakeholder relationships influence strategy, governance, and ethics
- Articulate and evaluate a range of available strategic choices to an organisation with particular attention to complex environments and corporate strategy
- Critically examine and reflect on the necessary leadership behaviours and decisionmaking skills required to be an effective leader, responsible for strategy and leading strategic change
- Demonstrate integrated application of knowledge and skills when formulating strategy and governance frameworks in complex environments

Assessment Tasks
The successful completion of Strategy, Governance and Sustainability relies on the submission of three assessments:
- Assessment Task 1: Board Report (40%)
- Assessment Task 2: Board Presentation (40%)
- Assessment Task 3: Engagement Online with Discussion Forum Posts (20%)
